Prayer Requests

I don't usually post personal prayer requests here. I belong to two on-line prayer groups and can also call on the prayer team at my church. But this morning I feel compelled to make two requests:

1.  Approximately two years ago, my father had a "very aggressive" melanoma removed from his neck. It has returned. Although the doctor said the biopsy showed this melanoma is not from the one removed 2 years ago, it is extremely close to the original location. My dad will see his oncologist today to determine when the surgery will be and what, if any, follow-up treatment will be done. Please pray that this is, indeed, a new melanoma and that it will be completely removed by surgery.

2. On a happier note, my son Kyle, who has served 9 years in the Marines, including two tours in Iraq, will be moving home this weekend!  My daughter will be flying to New Orleans Wednesday night to help him pack and load the trailer and they will be coming back on Saturday. Please pray for safety while packing and while driving home.

I would like to add that anytime any one of you has a prayer request, I would be honored and humbled to pray for you. You may always send me an email at: edwina.cowgill@yahoo.com

May God richly bless each of you today and always!

Praying for you and your family, Edwina. You have a lot going on in your life right now, and I pray for the Lord's peace for you and yours. May your sweet dad sail through any upcoming surgery and I know how excited you have to be for your son coming back home. I have so much admiration for the men who serve our country, and I know how proud you are. Rightly so! Sending blessings and love to you!
