It’s Christmas in September!! That’s how I feel after reading Love Finds You Under the Mistletoe. This book is two stories in one – so it’s like getting 2 for the price of 1!
Irene Brand wrote An Applachian Christmas, a wonderful story of love and redemption. Here is the back cover synopsis:
"A promise to her dying sister compels Julia Mayfield to take her young nephew to Mistletoe, Kentucky, a tiny hamlet tucked away in the Applachian Mountains. Sparks fly when she meets David Armstrong, A WW II veteran like herself. Once Upon a Christmas Eve was written by Anita Higman. It is a delightful story of love and obedience. Here is the synopsis from the back cover:

These two stories are enjoyable to read! If you are a fan of Christian fiction, set during the Christmas season, this book is one you will want to get!

I love Christmas time, I love everything about it! And, to have a wonderful book to read during the festive season is such a bonus.
My most precious Christmas memory is the Christmas of 2006. Our three children and four grandchildren came to our home for a visit a couple of evenings before Christmas.
On the spur of the moment my husband hitched the haywagon up to his tractor,all of us bundled up in quilts (it was sooo cold that night)and went caroling around our neighbor.
Afterwards, we had hot chocolate and cookies, then took family pictures around the tree. It was wonderful!
