It’s Christmas in September!! That’s how I feel after reading Love Finds You Under the Mistletoe. This book is two stories in one – so it’s like getting 2 for the price of 1!
Irene Brand wrote An Applachian Christmas, a wonderful story of love and redemption. Here is the back cover synopsis:
"A promise to her dying sister compels Julia Mayfield to take her young nephew to Mistletoe, Kentucky, a tiny hamlet tucked away in the Applachian Mountains. Sparks fly when she meets David Armstrong, A WW II veteran like herself. Even as shadows from the past weave a dangerous web around Julia and David, will their love flourish like the mistletoe that blankets the nearby hills?"
Once Upon a Christmas Eve was written by Anita Higman. It is a delightful story of love and obedience. Here is the synopsis from the back cover:
"Holly Goodnight’s store has just been voted the best Christmas shop in all of America. All the publicity draws flamboyant novelist Van Keaton to the cozy town of Noel, Missouri, demanding to write Holly’s story—a dramatic tale of misfortune and triumph. She is swept up in his world of beautiful words…until Owen Quigly, her lifelong best friend, launches a plan to win her back."
These two stories are enjoyable to read! If you are a fan of Christian fiction, set during the Christmas season, this book is one you will want to get!
The authors have graciously donated an autographed copy of this book for one lucky winner! Please leave a comment, sharing your favorite Christmas memory and a way for me to contact you should you be the winner. Drawing will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.
