She Speaks 2010 Conference

I am so excited I can hardly stand it! This morning I leave, along with two friends, for Concord, North Carolina. We will be attending the She Speaks 2010 Conference, sponsored by Proverbs 31 Ministries. We have been planning for this since March of this year. It seems like it’s been a long time coming, and now this day is finally here.

This conference offers three tracks: Speaker, Writer and Women in Leadership. Clare and I are taking the Speaker track; Connie is taking the writer track and we’ll share notes.

As much as I’m looking forward to the workshops, the keynote addresses and making new friends, I am most looking forward to hearing from God. I’ve been praying this week for God to speak to Clare, Connie and me—to confirm our call, give us direction—whatever He has for us. I have prayed for us to receive a fresh anointing, for physical strength and spiritual renewal.

If you think of us any time during the weekend, pray for us. Pray for safe travel, for Clare and I as we give our presentations Friday and Saturday, for us to hear from God and to have those God-ordained moments that only He can arrange.

Maranatha!
